Typeform responses, turned into calls

Add the URL LumaKol gives you as a webhook on your typeform. Each response becomes a lead, Typeform’s phone and email questions fill the right fields, and the caller you choose is told at once.

  • Phone and email questions recognised
  • Choice answers in plain text
  • Each response added once

Who it’s for

Teams that qualify leads with a typeform: course and coaching enquiries, agencies’ discovery forms, B2B demo requests, and insurance or loan eligibility quizzes. The answers show who is ready to buy; LumaKol makes sure that person gets a call while they still remember filling it in.

  • Typeform’s Phone number and Email questions fill the lead’s phone and email, whatever you title them.
  • A hidden field called utm_campaign becomes the lead’s campaign; otherwise the typeform’s title is used.
  • Multiple-choice and yes/no answers arrive as readable text in the note.

How to connect it

  1. 1

Add Typeform as a lead source

In LumaKol, go to Setup → Lead sources, choose Add source, then Typeform, and copy the webhook URL.

  2. 2

    Add the webhook in Typeform

Open your form, go to Connect → Webhooks, click Add a webhook, paste the URL and save.

  3. 3

    Switch it on

New Typeform webhooks start switched off. Turn it on, then use View deliveries → Send test request to check the connection.

  4. 4

    Choose who gets the leads

Give every lead to one person, share them in turn between the people you pick, or leave them for a manager. Set the starting stage and tags as well.

What comes in with each response

  • Name, phone and email, from Typeform’s phone number and email questions and a question titled like name
  • Company, city and address, from questions titled that way
  • The typeform’s title (or a hidden utm_campaign field), saved as the lead’s campaign
  • Every other answer, choices included, as Question: answer lines in a note

After the lead arrives

Each response is added once, even if Typeform delivers it again, and a respondent whose number you already have gets the new answers as a note on their existing lead. Responses without a phone number are listed under Activity as Not added, so make the phone question required.

Questions

I added the webhook but nothing arrives. Why?+

Check that the webhook is switched on: Typeform adds new webhooks switched off. View deliveries in Typeform shows each attempt, and the LumaKol source’s Activity shows what arrived.

Does the form need a phone question?+

Yes. A lead needs a number to call, so add a Phone number question and make it required.

Can one source take several typeforms?+

Yes. Add the same URL as the webhook on each; the typeform’s title is saved as each lead’s campaign so you can tell them apart. Use separate sources when each form needs its own caller.

What happens to my other questions?+

They are saved as a note on the lead, one line per question, so the caller sees the full response before dialling.
