What it does
What it measures
Check-in starts the day, and check-out ends it; if someone forgets, automatic checkout closes the day after the hours you set. In between, LumaKol counts active time from the phone app and the web app actually being used, so a person who checked in and left the phone in a drawer does not show eight active hours. Breaks are typed and kept out of active time.
Managers see live status on the board: available, on a call, on a break or idle. Reports → Attendance gives check-in, check-out, active time on web and app, breaks by type, idle time and outcomes, per person per day, with CSV or Excel export.
Check-in with location
Optionally require location at check-in, and a distance limit from the office.
Typed breaks
Lunch, tea, meeting, training or your own types, with a maximum break length flagged in the report.
Idle detection
Checked in, not on a break, no activity past the threshold (10 minutes by default) shows as idle.
Shifts
Assign shifts to people or teams; check-ins are marked late or early against the shift.
Leave and corrections
Staff apply for leave, including half days, or ask for a correction to a day; managers approve or reject.
Month view
Present, half day, absent and leave for every day of the month, for each person.

Is active time the same as logged-in time?
No. Active time is measured from the phone app and web app being used, every minute. Check-in is a separate record, and breaks are never counted as active.
Can I stop people checking in from home?
Yes. Require location at check-in and set a distance limit; check-ins further from the office are refused.
Does it track location all day?
No. Location is read at check-in when the policy asks for it, and at field visit check-ins. Never in the background.
Can staff apply for leave in the app?
Yes. They choose a leave type and dates, or a half day, with a reason. A manager approves or rejects it.
