Attendance that comes from the work itself
Check-in, breaks and check-out happen in the app your team calls from. Active time is measured from real app and web activity, so the attendance report and the live board match what actually happened.
- Active, break and idle kept apart
- Shifts with late and early marks
- CSV and Excel export

What it does
What attendance tracks
Check-in is one tap on the app’s home screen or on the web; if your policy requires it, the app asks for a location once, and you can limit check-ins to a distance from the office. Breaks are typed (lunch, tea, meeting, training or your own) and never count as active time. Checked in, not on a break and inactive past the threshold shows as idle on the live board.
Shifts can be assigned to people or teams, and each day is marked late or early against the shift and its grace minutes. Staff apply for leave or ask for a correction from the app, and a manager approves or rejects it. Reports → Attendance shows every person’s day and exports to CSV or Excel.
Check-in rules
Optional required check-in, required location and a distance limit from the office.
Typed breaks
Break types you define, with a maximum length that flags long breaks in the report.
Idle detection
Ten minutes without activity by default. A call or a logged outcome clears it.
Shifts and automatic checkout
Late and early against the shift, and automatic checkout after the hours you choose (12 by default).
Leave and corrections
Leave types with yearly days, half days, and correction requests for a wrong check-in.
Attendance report
Check-in, check-out, active time on web and app, breaks by type, idle time and outcomes per day.

How it works
How to set it up
Policy on the web, daily use on the phone.
- 1
Set the policy
Choose check-in rules, break types and maximum break, idle threshold, full-day and half-day minutes, leave types and automatic checkout.
- 2
Add shifts
Create shifts and assign them to people or whole teams. A person’s own assignment wins over their team’s.
- 3
Team checks in
Agents check in, take breaks and check out from the app or the web; their status shows on the live board.
- 4
Approve and export
Review leave and correction requests, then export the attendance report for payroll or HR.
Who it’s for
Who it’s for
Calling teams in an office
Floor managers who want live status without walking the room.
Remote callers
Teams working from home, where active time from the apps is the only honest measure.
Field reps
Reps who check in away from the office and record visits at customers.
Good to know
- Active time counts while the app is open on the phone or the web app is open in a browser, measured every minute.
- Location is read at check-in only when your policy asks for it. It is never tracked in the background.
Questions
More answers on the FAQ page.
How is active time measured?
The phone app and the web app report activity every minute while open. Active time is the sum of that activity over the day; breaks are excluded.
What does idle mean?
Checked in, not on a break, and no call or app activity for longer than the idle threshold, 10 minutes by default.
What if someone forgets to check out?
Automatic checkout closes the day after the number of hours your admin set, and the report marks it as automatic.
Can attendance be corrected?
Yes. Staff send a correction request with a reason, and a manager approves or rejects it.
Which plans include attendance?
Every team plan. LumaKol has a 14-day free trial, then paid plans from ₹399$9 per calling seat per month.
