What LumaKol does not do
Worth knowing before you start a trial.
- Automatic call logging is Android only. Apple does not let apps read the iPhone call log, so calls made on an iPhone are not logged on their own.
- No cloud telephony, VoIP, IVR or virtual numbers. Calls use each agent’s SIM and its call rates, including for numbers abroad.
- No predictive or parallel dialling. Auto-dial calls one lead at a time, after the agent has logged the last call.
- Facebook and Instagram lead ads are not connected.
- WhatsApp templates open in the agent’s own WhatsApp. There is no WhatsApp Business API sending.
Privacy and calling rules in the Philippines
The Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) sets out how personal information, phone numbers included, may be collected and used, and the National Privacy Commission oversees it. Keep a record of how each lead reached you and stop calling people who ask you to. Read the official sources and take legal advice for your campaigns.

Is LumaKol a predictive dialer?+
No. Auto-dial next lead calls one lead at a time from the agent’s own SIM, a few seconds after the last outcome is logged, so the agent is on the line when someone answers. Managers can switch it off for the whole workspace.
Does LumaKol log calls on an iPhone?+
No. Apple does not let any app read the iPhone call log, so automatic call logging works on Android only. iPhone users can still work their leads, follow-ups and templates, but their calls are not captured on their own.
Is the app available in Filipino?+
Yes. The Android app ships in Filipino, English and 31 other languages, and each person picks their own. The web dashboard is in English.
Can we call customers in other countries?+
Calls go out from each agent’s own SIM, so a call abroad costs whatever that SIM’s plan charges. LumaKol does not provide VoIP, international numbers or call routing.
Does LumaKol take care of data privacy compliance for us?+
No software can do that on its own. LumaKol gives you calling hours, attempt limits, a no-contact outcome, number masking for agents and an audit log, but your business decides how leads are collected and used. Read the Data Privacy Act and take legal advice.
