The telecalling CRM that logs every call your team makes
Your callers ring leads from the SIM in their own phone. On Android, LumaKol logs each work call, asks how it went as soon as it ends and books the next follow-up. Managers watch the whole team live on the web.

What is a telecalling CRM?
A telecalling CRM is the software a phone sales team works from all day. It holds the leads, puts the next call in front of each caller, records how every call went and makes sure a promised callback actually happens.
In India this work is called telecalling. Elsewhere people say outbound calling, phone sales or inside sales; the job is the same. A general CRM is organised around deals and email. A telecalling CRM is organised around the call: who to ring next, what happened last time, and when to try again.
LumaKol does this without desk phones or rented numbers. It runs on the Android phones your callers already carry, so leads see an ordinary mobile number and the only calling cost is the SIM plan you already pay for.
How a telecalling day runs in LumaKol
From a new enquiry to the next follow-up, most of it happens without anyone typing.
- 1
Leads arrive and are assigned
Facebook and Instagram lead ads, Google Ads lead forms, IndiaMART, JustDial, your website, hosted forms, spreadsheet imports and the API all feed one workspace. Rules share new leads out round-robin or by source and set the first call.
- 2
The queue picks the next call
Each caller opens a queue ordered by lead score, where overdue callbacks and fresh enquiries score highest. One tap dials from the work SIM. Callers who want a faster pace can turn on auto-dial for the next lead.
- 3
The call logs itself
On Android, outgoing, incoming and missed calls on the work SIM attach to the lead with their duration, even when the app was closed. If the phone’s dialer records calls, the recording can sync to the lead too.
- 4
Outcome and next step together
When the call ends, the outcome form opens. The caller picks what happened and adds a note; the outcome can move the stage and book the next follow-up. Retry rules bring back leads who did not pick up.
- 5
Managers watch and coach
The live board shows who is on a call, on a break or idle, with today’s outcomes and due follow-ups. Reports show each caller’s calls, answer rate, talk time and follow-ups made on time, and how many leads from each source were called, connected and won.
What a telecalling team gets
On iPhone, a few phone-level features work differently because iOS limits what apps can do.
Automatic call logging
Work-SIM calls on Android are matched to leads with their duration and whether they connected. The log catches up after a restart or weak signal, and personal calls are never read.
A calling queue
Nobody has to decide who to ring. The queue orders leads by lead score, then the soonest follow-up, and auto-dial can move to the next lead after a short countdown.
Outcomes your admin designs
Each outcome can move the stage, schedule the follow-up and ask set questions. A calling policy can make the outcome mandatory before the next call.
Follow-ups and retry rules
Quick picks or any date and time, reminders on the phone, and overdue callbacks moved up the queue.
Recordings on the lead
LumaKol does not record calls itself. On Android, where the phone’s dialer records, the file is matched to its call and uploaded for the roles you allow.
Scripts and message templates
The right script for each stage and source, plus WhatsApp, SMS and email templates that open on the caller’s phone with the lead’s details filled in.
Lead routing and automation
Assign round-robin or by source, add tags, move stages and set the first follow-up the moment a lead arrives.
Live board and attendance
Each caller’s status right now, plus check-ins, breaks and active time, without anyone sending a report.
Reports and call reviews
Calls, answer rate, talk time and follow-ups on time for each caller, the best hours to call, and scorecards for reviewing recorded calls.
SIM-based CRM vs VoIP dialers vs spreadsheets
Cloud telephony charges per minute and calls from unknown virtual numbers. Spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups lose the follow-up. LumaKol sits on the phone your agents already use.
| What you get | LumaKol | VoIP / cloud dialers | Spreadsheets & WhatsApp |
|---|---|---|---|
| Calls show your agent’s real mobile number | Yes | Virtual or masked number | Yes |
| Per-minute calling charges | None — uses the SIM plan | Billed per minute | None |
| Risk of being flagged as spam by carriers and caller-ID apps | Low — known personal numbers | High for shared virtual numbers | Low |
| Lead calls logged automatically, including missed and incoming | On Android, yes — even after restarts. On iPhone, calls started from the app | Only calls made inside the dialer | Manual entry |
| Feedback captured the moment a call ends | One-tap outcome and notes | Sometimes | Rarely |
| Follow-up reminders and callbacks | Yes, in the agent’s time zone | Depends on the CRM | Forgotten |
| Call recording | On Android, syncs the recordings your phone’s dialer already makes | Server-side | No |
| Calling hours, attempt caps and do-not-call policy | Built in, for your own do-not-call list (no national registry screening) | Varies | No |
| Live team board for managers | Yes | Yes | No |
| Works when mobile data is weak | Calls unaffected; data syncs later | Call quality drops | Yes |
Comparison reflects typical cloud-dialer and manual workflows; specific products differ.
How to choose a telecalling CRM
Eight questions to ask any vendor, and how LumaKol answers each, including where it falls short.
- 1
Are calls logged without the caller typing them in?
On Android, yes: every call on the work SIM is captured. iOS does not let apps read the call log, so the iPhone app, which is coming to the App Store, tracks calls started from the app and asks for the outcome straight after.
- 2
Which number does the lead see?
The caller’s own mobile number, the same one every time they call. There are no virtual or masked caller numbers, which also means LumaKol cannot hide a caller’s number from a lead.
- 3
Will we pay for minutes?
No. Calls go over the SIM’s mobile plan. LumaKol charges per seat, with no per-minute or per-call fees and no setup fee.
- 4
Can it record calls?
LumaKol relies on the phone for that. On Android, if the phone’s own dialer records calls, LumaKol matches each recording to its call and uploads it. Some phone brands and countries do not allow dialer recording, and the iPhone app cannot sync recordings.
- 5
What happens to callers’ personal calls?
Only the SIM chosen as the work SIM is read; the personal SIM never is. Calls with numbers that are not leads stay on the phone, unless your admin turns on missed-call leads, which sends only incoming calls from new numbers on the work SIM.
- 6
Does it help us stay within calling rules?
You set calling hours, a maximum number of attempts per lead and a block on anyone who asked not to be contacted. The app warns before a call outside hours, and leads at their attempt limit leave the queue. LumaKol does not check numbers against national registries such as India’s NCPR, the US Do Not Call Registry or the UK’s TPS; that stays with you.
- 7
Can managers see the team without hovering?
Yes. The live board shows who is on a call, on a break or idle. Attendance comes from activity in the app, and managers can coach from recordings and review scorecards.
- 8
What does the trial include?
14 days free with no card: up to 3 callers, 500 leads and every lead source. Exporting leads to CSV unlocks when you subscribe.
What LumaKol is not
It is not a cloud call centre or a predictive dialer. Every call is an ordinary mobile call from one caller’s phone, one at a time, with the caller on the line when it connects. It does not send WhatsApp messages for you either: templates open on the caller’s phone, ready to send.
Telecalling CRM for your industry
Each industry starts with its own pipeline and call outcomes, ready on the first day.
Priced per seat, with no calling charges
Starter, Growth and Business are priced per seat per month, from a single seat, billed monthly or yearly. Enterprise is by arrangement. Callers and team leads take seats; up to three owners, admins, billing admins and viewers are free.
Prices are shown in US dollars or Indian rupees.
Telecalling CRM questions
Is a telecalling CRM the same as a dialer?+
No. A dialer places calls, often over internet telephony billed by the minute. A telecalling CRM manages the leads, outcomes and follow-ups around the calls. LumaKol is the CRM, and calls go through the phone’s own dialer, so there is no telephony bill.
Does LumaKol work outside India?+
Yes. The apps come in 33 languages, every user has their own time zone, a number entered in any format matches the same lead, and plans are priced in US dollars or Indian rupees. The compliance pages cover GDPR and the calling rules in the US and the UK.
Do callers need new phones or SIMs?+
No. Any phone running Android 10 or newer works, on any carrier and with dual SIM. During setup each caller chooses which SIM is for work.
How big a team can use it?+
Anything from one person up. Starter, Growth and Business go from a single seat to 500 seats, and Enterprise starts at 50 seats with no upper limit.
Can we bring our existing leads?+
Yes. Import a CSV or Excel file from Leads → Import, map the columns once, and duplicates are matched by phone number.
What if mobile data is weak?+
Calls are not affected, because they go over the mobile network rather than the internet. Outcomes and notes saved without a connection are sent when it comes back, and the call log catches up on its own.
