Click a number on any web page and your phone dials it
The LumaKol extension for Chrome and Microsoft Edge finds phone numbers on web pages. Click one and your phone dials it from your work SIM, with the call logged as usual.
- Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a computer
- The LumaKol app signed in on the phone you call from
- A LumaKol account that calls leads (agent, team lead, an owner or admin who calls from their phone, or an individual account)

Add the extension
Open the LumaKol – Click to call page in the Chrome Web Store and choose Add to Chrome. Microsoft Edge installs the same extension from the Chrome Web Store once you allow extensions from other stores. Pin it to the toolbar so the LumaKol icon is always one click away.
- Add the extensionChrome or Edge

- Numbers foundcall icon after each

From a number on a web page to a call on your work SIM - 2
Pair it with your account, no password needed
Click the LumaKol icon. The extension shows a QR code and an 8-character code that work for 10 minutes. Approve it with an account you are already signed in to:
- In the LumaKol app: More → Pair browser extension, then scan the QR code or type the code
- On the web: Settings → Browser extension, type the code and press Approve
- Scanning the QR code with any phone camera also opens Settings → Browser extension with the code filled in
Tip: The extension gets its own sign-in that can only place click-to-call dials, check whether a number is one of your leads and add a lead. It cannot read your lead lists, reports or settings. - 3
Choose where it looks for numbers
Out of the box the extension reads nothing on its own. On a page with numbers, click the LumaKol icon and choose Find numbers on this page: a small LumaKol call icon appears after each phone number. To have that happen by itself, turn on Always on this site for the sites you work in, such as your mail or a lead portal, or allow every site. Chrome asks your permission each time.
- Indian and international numbers are recognised; dates, prices, order numbers and PIN codes are left alone
- Text boxes and editable areas are never touched, so nothing you type changes
- Pages that load more content as you scroll are checked again for new numbers

Click to call
Click the call icon next to a number. LumaKol sends the dial to your phone through click-to-call, the same as the Call button on a lead in the web app: the phone dials from your work SIM, and when the call ends it is logged and matched to the lead like any other call. If Dial calls sent from the web automatically is off in the app’s More → Calling, or the app does not have the phone permission, the phone shows a notification you tap to call instead. A message on the page says whether it worked.
- Right-click a number you have selected and choose Call with LumaKol, for numbers the icon did not catch
- Or type a number in the Dial a number box in the extension’s window, which also lists your recent dials

Add a number that is not a lead yet
Click-to-call only dials numbers that belong to your leads. When the number is not one yet, the extension offers Add as lead: type the person’s name and the lead is created with that number under your workspace’s usual rules (duplicate check, lead limits, owner), with the source set to Browser extension. Then you can call it straight away.
- 6
The same rules as calling from the web
Every dial goes through the same checks as click-to-call from the web app, and the message tells you when one stops it.
- Only members who call leads can dial; a viewer, for example, is told so
- Outside your workspace’s calling hours the call still goes through, because clicking a number is your own choice, like Call anyway in the app
- A lead marked Do not call (DND) shows as Do not call when you type its number in the extension’s window, with who marked it, when and the reason, and it cannot be dialed: the Call button is replaced and a click on the page says why
- A lead whose last outcome is “Requested no contact” is not dialed while the workspace blocks calls to them, closed days and attempt limits apply as on the phone, and after an unanswered call a lead waits out your workspace’s wait between attempts; the extension’s window shows the reason before you call
- If click-to-call is switched off for your workspace, the extension cannot dial
- 7
Sign out or remove a browser
Sign out in the extension’s window to disconnect it at once. Every browser you paired is listed in Settings → Browser extension on the web, with when it was last used; Revoke disconnects one you no longer use, such as a shared or lost computer.
What you have at the end
- Numbers on web pages one click away from a call on your work SIM
- Calls from the browser logged and matched to leads like every other call
- New numbers added as leads without retyping them
Common questions
What does the extension send to LumaKol?+
Only the number you click, select or type, and the name when you add a lead. It reads page text in your browser, only on pages where you asked it to look, and never uploads page content or your browsing history.
Nothing rang on my phone.+
Check that the LumaKol app is signed in on that phone with the same account and that the phone is online. If no phone is signed in, the extension says so.
It says I am not a caller.+
Only agents, team leads, owners and admins who turned on calling from their phone, and individual accounts dial leads. Ask your workspace owner if you should be calling.
