Google Forms responses, in the calling queue as they arrive
Paste the script LumaKol gives you into your form’s Apps Script and add one trigger. Every response becomes a lead with its answers, and the caller you choose gets a push on their phone.
- Sent as each response is submitted
- Every answer kept
- No extra tools to pay for

Google Forms at a glance
- How leads get in
- A short Apps Script, which LumaKol writes for you with your private URL already in it, runs on your form’s submit trigger and posts each response.
- How fast
- When the form-submit trigger runs, which Google does as the response is submitted.
- Repeats and retries
- Each response is recorded by its Google Forms response ID, so the same response sent twice is added once. A number that is already a lead gets a note.
- Where you set it up
- In Google Forms: ⋮ (More) → Apps Script, then Triggers (the clock icon) → Add trigger → onFormSubmit, From form, On form submit.
Who it’s for
Schools and coaching centres taking admission enquiries, event organisers, clinics, NGOs and small businesses that already share a Google Form on their website, in a WhatsApp status or behind a QR code, and today copy the responses sheet into calls by hand.
- Keep the form as it is: responses still reach your linked Google Sheet.
- Questions titled Name, Phone, Email, City or Company fill those lead fields; every other answer is saved as a note.
- One source per form lets each form’s leads go to different callers.
How to connect it
- 1
Add Google Forms as a lead source
In LumaKol, go to Integrations → Lead sources, choose Add source, then Google Forms. The setup screen shows a script that already contains your private URL.
- 2
Paste the script into your form
In Google Forms, open ⋮ (More) → Apps Script, delete the sample code, paste the script and click Save.
- 3
Add the form-submit trigger
Open Triggers (the clock icon) → Add trigger, choose onFormSubmit, From form and On form submit, then allow the permissions. If Google warns the app isn’t verified, choose Advanced → Go to the project.
- 4
Submit a test response
Make sure the form asks for a phone number, then submit one response. It appears under the source’s Activity and as a lead with the caller you chose.
What comes in with each response
| What Google Forms sends | Where it lands in LumaKol |
|---|---|
| A question titled like Name, Full name or Your name (or First name and Last name) | Name |
| A question titled like Phone, Mobile, WhatsApp number or Contact number, with an answer of 7 to 15 digits | Phone |
| A question titled like Email, or the respondent’s email when the form collects email addresses | |
| Questions titled like City, Locality, State, PIN code or Address | City, state, postal code and address |
| A question titled like Company, Organisation or Business | Company |
| The form’s title | Campaign |
| Every other question, with checkbox answers joined by commas | A “Question: answer” line in the lead’s note |
Questions are matched by their title, so “What is your mobile number?” fills the phone field. An answer must fit the field it lands in: a phone answer needs 7 to 15 digits and an email answer must look like an email, otherwise it is kept in the note instead.
After the lead arrives
A response from a number you already have becomes a note on that lead, so a parent who fills in the form twice is called once, by the same counsellor. Choose one person, share responses in turn, or leave them for a manager, and set the starting stage and tags. The source keeps an activity log of its latest 50 responses.
Common Google Forms problems, and the fix
Responses are submitted but nothing reaches LumaKol
The script only runs once the trigger exists. In Apps Script open Triggers and check there is one for onFormSubmit with the event source From form and the event type On form submit. Saving the script on its own is not enough.
Google warns that the app isn’t verified
The script is your own, so Google has never reviewed it. Choose Advanced → Go to the project, then Allow. It only reads this form’s responses and sends them to your LumaKol URL.
Leads stopped after the URL was changed
Change URL on the source makes the old URL stop at once, and the old URL is written inside the script. Copy the script again from the source’s setup screen, paste it over the old one in Apps Script and save.
The phone answer ended up in the note
The answer did not look like a phone number, for example a short answer with letters in it, so LumaKol kept it as a note line instead. Use a short-answer question titled Phone or Mobile, make it required and add response validation for numbers in the form.
Questions about Google Forms
Why does Google say the app isn’t verified?+
Because the script is your own, not a published app. Choose Advanced, then Go to the project, then Allow. The script only sends this form’s responses to your LumaKol URL.
My form collects email addresses automatically. Is that email used?+
Yes. When the form records the respondent’s email and has no question called Email, the script sends that address as the email, so it fills the lead’s email field.
Do responses still go to my Google Sheet?+
Yes. The script runs alongside the form’s normal response handling, so a linked sheet keeps filling as before. LumaKol never reads the sheet; it receives each response from the script.
Can I connect several forms?+
Yes. Add one Google Forms source per form, each with its own script, caller, stage and tags.
