Step by step
After this video you can switch Power Dialer on for your workspace, decide whether answered calls need an outcome, and follow each caller’s sessions on the live board and in the sessions report.
- 1
Open Settings → Calling policy
Power Dialer is controlled here by owners and admins. It is on unless an admin switched it off.
- 2
Allow auto-dial, then Power Dialer
Allow Power Dialer lets agents run sessions in the app, dialling the next lead after a short gap. It needs Allow auto-dial next lead to be on first.
- 3
Set the default gap and the longest session
Default gap sets the seconds the app counts down after a call, from 3 to 60. Longest session ends a session by itself after the time you choose, or set No limit.
- 4
Require outcomes for answered calls
Require an outcome for answered calls brings back a required outcome sheet after every answered call before the next dial. Missed calls are still tagged automatically. Owners and admins also find this switch in the app under More → Calling.
- 5
Know what stops a session
A session stops by itself outside calling hours, on a day closed for calling, at the end of the list or at the longest-session limit. Leads marked Do not call, at the attempt limit or inside the wait between attempts are skipped.
- 6
Watch the live board
Team → Live board shows an In session badge with the time beside anyone in a session, and Session paused when they pause, so you can see who is dialling right now.
- 7
Compare callers in Calling sessions
Reports → Calling sessions shows sessions, active time with pauses left out, calls, answered calls and calls per active hour, by caller and session by session. Open a session to see each call it made.
- 8
Trust the connected count
When an answering machine picks up, the phone logs the call as answered. Once a not-connected outcome such as No answer is saved, it leaves the session’s connected calls and talk time.
Tips
- Turn on Require an outcome for answered calls if your reports show many calls with no outcome.
- Calls per active hour is shown only after 10 minutes of calling, so short test sessions do not skew it.
