Typeform responses, turned into calls
Add the URL LumaKol gives you as a webhook on your typeform. Each response becomes a lead, Typeform’s phone and email questions fill the right fields, and the caller you choose is told at once.
- Phone and email questions recognised
- Choice answers in plain text
- Each response added once

Typeform at a glance
- How leads get in
- A Typeform webhook posts each completed response to the private URL your LumaKol source gives you.
- How fast
- As Typeform delivers the webhook, once the respondent submits the form.
- Repeats and retries
- Each response is recorded by its Typeform response token, so a delivery Typeform retries is added once. A respondent who is already a lead gets a note.
- Where you set it up
- In your typeform: Connect → Webhooks → Add a webhook. New webhooks start switched off, so turn it on after saving.
Who it’s for
Teams that qualify leads with a typeform: course and coaching enquiries, agencies’ discovery forms, B2B demo requests, and insurance or loan eligibility quizzes. The answers show who is ready to buy; LumaKol makes sure that person gets a call while they still remember filling it in.
- Typeform’s Phone number and Email questions fill the lead’s phone and email, whatever you title them.
- A hidden field called utm_campaign becomes the lead’s campaign; otherwise the typeform’s title is used.
- Multiple-choice and yes/no answers arrive as readable text in the note.
How to connect it
- 1
Add Typeform as a lead source
In LumaKol, go to Integrations → Lead sources, choose Add source, then Typeform, and copy the webhook URL.
- 2
Add the webhook in Typeform
Open your form, go to Connect → Webhooks, click Add a webhook, paste the URL and save.
- 3
Switch it on
New Typeform webhooks start switched off. Turn it on, then use View deliveries → Send test request to check the connection.
- 4
Send a test request
In Typeform open View deliveries → Send test request, then submit the live typeform once with your own phone number. Activity on the source shows each delivery and what became of it.
What comes in with each response
| What Typeform sends | Where it lands in LumaKol |
|---|---|
| The answer to a Phone number question, whatever you titled it | Phone |
| The answer to an Email question, whatever you titled it | |
| A short-text question whose title mentions name, such as “What’s your name?” | Name |
| Questions titled like Company, City or Address | Company, city and address |
| Multiple choice, dropdown and yes/no answers | Note lines with the option text, or Yes or No |
| Hidden fields; one called utm_campaign | Note lines; utm_campaign becomes the campaign |
| The typeform’s title, when there is no utm_campaign | Campaign |
Each answer is labelled with its question title, so the note reads like the response. A question about a company is not taken as the person’s name, and First name and Last name questions are joined into one.
After the lead arrives
Respondents arrive with every answer in the note, labelled with your question titles, so the caller can open with what the person asked about. Typeform responses often come from ads and go cold quickly; a rule on A new lead is not called in time can pass a response nobody has called to another caller or notify a manager.
Common Typeform problems, and the fix
The webhook is saved but nothing arrives
Typeform adds new webhooks switched off. Open Connect → Webhooks and turn it on. View deliveries in Typeform lists each attempt and its result.
The name field shows the phone number
With no name question, LumaKol names the lead after its phone number. Add a short-text question titled with the word name, such as “Your name”, so it fills the lead’s name.
Campaign shows the form title, not the ad
Add a hidden field called utm_campaign to the typeform and pass the campaign in the link. Its value then becomes the lead’s campaign instead of the typeform’s title.
A response shows as Not added
It had no valid phone number. Use Typeform’s Phone number question type rather than a short-text question, and make it required so every response can be called.
Questions about Typeform
I added the webhook but nothing arrives. Why?+
Check that the webhook is switched on: Typeform adds new webhooks switched off. View deliveries in Typeform shows each attempt, and the LumaKol source’s Activity shows what arrived.
Are Typeform hidden fields kept?+
Yes. Each hidden field is saved as a line in the lead’s note, except utm_campaign, which becomes the lead’s campaign. UTM source, medium, term and content are left out.
Can one source take several typeforms?+
Yes. Add the same URL as the webhook on each; the typeform’s title is saved as each lead’s campaign so you can tell them apart. Use separate sources when each form needs its own caller.
What happens to my other questions?+
They are saved as a note on the lead, one line per question, so the caller sees the full response before dialling.
