Keep calls syncing on Motorola phones
Motorola phones use Google’s Phone app, so LumaKol cannot match call recordings. Let LumaKol run in the background and every call and outcome still syncs.

Know what LumaKol can match on a Motorola
Motorola phones use Google’s Phone app as their dialer. Where it can record, Google keeps the recordings inside the Phone app rather than as audio files other apps can open, so LumaKol cannot match recordings on a Motorola phone. Everything else works: each call on the work SIM is logged to the lead with its duration, and you save the outcome as usual.

Turn off battery optimisation from LumaKol
Open LumaKol → More → Diagnostics and tap Battery optimisation, then set LumaKol so it is not optimised in the list that opens. During setup this is the Keep capturing in the background step.

Allow unrestricted battery use
Open the phone’s Settings → Apps → LumaKol → App battery usage, switch on Allow background usage if you see it, and choose Unrestricted. The wording differs a little between Android versions.

Let LumaKol run in the background
Motorola adds its own background app setting, and where it sits depends on the model. Motorola’s user guides list these:
- Many recent models, such as the razr 2025: Settings → Battery → Manage background apps, then set LumaKol to Always allow
- Some moto g models, such as the moto g05: Settings → System → Performance → Background app management, then switch LumaKol on
- Other moto g models, such as the moto g35 5G: Settings → Battery → App standby optimizer → LumaKol, turn off App optimized; then Settings → Battery → Auto launch management → App auto launch and switch LumaKol on
نکته: Not sure which one your phone has? Search Settings for background apps or standby optimizer. - 5
Recording in the Phone app is separate
Recording calls in the Phone app is up to you and does not affect LumaKol. Motorola notes that only some phones, carriers and countries support it, that a voice tells everyone on the call it is being recorded, and that the announcement cannot be turned off. Recorded calls are marked in the Phone app’s recent calls. You can leave Sync dialer recordings in More → Calling off: there are no files for it to find, and each call would show No recording found for this call.

Test with one call
Call a lead from LumaKol and hang up after a few seconds. The outcome prompt should open straight away. Lock the phone, wait a few minutes, make one more call, and check that it also appears in the Calls tab with the right lead and its duration.
آنچه در پایان خواهید داشت
- LumaKol set to Unrestricted and allowed in the background
- Calls, durations and outcomes logged to the right lead
- A clear answer on recordings: they stay in the Phone app, not in LumaKol

Should I turn off Adaptive Battery?+
You do not have to. Google notes that an app with battery optimisation turned off can keep running even when Adaptive Battery is on. If calls still arrive late, turning it off in the phone’s Settings → Battery → Adaptive Battery is a safe next step.
Can LumaKol record my calls instead?+
No. LumaKol never records audio itself. It matches recordings the phone’s own dialer saves as files, and Google’s Phone app does not save them that way. Calls, durations and outcomes are logged either way.
