Keep calls syncing on vivo and iQOO
Funtouch OS and OriginOS close apps that use power in the background. Let LumaKol run in the background, lock it in recent apps and turn on call recording.
- A vivo or iQOO phone on Funtouch OS or OriginOS
- The LumaKol app installed and signed in

Turn off battery optimisation from LumaKol
Open LumaKol → More → Diagnostics and tap Battery optimisation, then set LumaKol so it is not optimised in the list that opens. During setup this is the Keep capturing in the background step. On vivo phones this is not enough by itself, so carry on with the steps below.

Battery optimisation in More → Diagnostics - 2
Allow background power use
vivo closes an app it sees using a lot of power in the background. An app you allow here keeps running in the background until you close it yourself.
- Newer versions (for example on Android 13): Settings → Battery → Background power consumption management, select LumaKol and choose Don’t restrict background power usage. vivo also opens it from Settings → Apps → LumaKol → App battery usage.
- Older versions: Settings → Battery → High background power consumption, then switch LumaKol on
Порада: Sleep standby optimization (Settings → Battery, on some vivo models) freezes idle apps during the hours the phone thinks you sleep, and vivo notes app messages may be delayed. If you call early or late, keep it off. - 3
Turn on autostart
Autostart lets LumaKol start again on its own, for example after the phone restarts.
- Funtouch OS versions with this menu: Settings → More settings → Applications → Autostart, then switch LumaKol on
- Funtouch OS 2.6 and older: i Manager → App manager → Autostart manager
- If you cannot find it, search Settings for Autostart; not every version has a separate list
- 4
Lock LumaKol in recent apps
Open recent apps, open the menu on the LumaKol card (or swipe the card down) and tap Lock. Some versions call it Lockdown. A locked app is not cleared when you clear recent apps.
- 5
Turn on call recording in the Phone app
vivo and iQOO phones come with either vivo’s own Phone app or Google’s Phone app, and vivo gives separate steps for each. Open the Phone app and tap ⋮ at the top right: a menu with Call settings means vivo’s Phone app, a menu with Settings means Google’s.
- vivo’s Phone app: tap ⋮ → Call settings → Call recording and choose Record all calls automatically, or Record custom calls automatically for chosen numbers. vivo saves the files in File Manager → All files (Phone storage) → Record, and on some models lists them in Files → Audio. These are audio files on the phone, so LumaKol can match them.
- Google’s Phone app (on some vivo and iQOO models): recording works where your country allows it, and everyone on the call hears that it is recorded. Google keeps these recordings inside the Phone app, so LumaKol cannot match them. Calls and outcomes still sync.
Порада: vivo notes that call recording is not available in some countries or regions because of local rules. If Call recording is missing, your phone cannot record where you are. - 6
Turn on recording matching in LumaKol
In the app, open More → Calling and switch on Sync dialer recordings. The app then matches your dialer’s recording to each lead call and saves it where your workspace chose, by default your own Google Drive, which the app asks you to connect. Until it is connected, the file stays on your phone, and saving waits for Wi-Fi unless you switch off Save recordings on Wi-Fi only. If the app asks for access to music and audio, allow it: LumaKol reads only audio files your dialer creates around the time of a lead call. Recordings folder, under the switch, is set to Automatic, which searches the phone’s audio library and finds most dialers’ files on its own.
Порада: Check More → Diagnostics afterwards: with Sync dialer recordings on, a Call recording sync row joins the list and should say Allowed. - 7
Point LumaKol at the folder if needed
If calls in the Calls tab say No recording found for this call while vivo’s Phone app did record them, open More → Calling → Recordings folder. The phone’s folder picker opens: go to the Record folder on the phone’s storage (or the folder inside it that holds your call recordings), tap Use this folder, then Allow. LumaKol keeps this access after a restart.
- 8
Test with one call
Call a lead from LumaKol and hang up after a few seconds. The outcome prompt should open straight away. Clear your recent apps, make another call, and check that it still shows in the Calls tab with the right lead.
Що ви матимете наприкінці
- LumaKol allowed to use power in the background
- LumaKol locked in recent apps
- Calls captured after you clear recent apps or restart
- Recordings from vivo’s own Phone app matched to calls

I did all of this and a call still logged late. Why?+
Saver modes and night-time battery features can still pause apps for a while. The call is not lost: LumaKol reads it from the call log the next time it runs, for example when you open the app.
My vivo has no call recording option. Can LumaKol record instead?+
No. LumaKol never records audio itself. It matches recordings the phone’s own dialer makes, and vivo turns recording off in some countries and regions. Calls, durations and outcomes are logged either way.
