Mark a lead as Do not call (DND)
When someone asks not to be called again, mark the lead Do not call with an optional reason. LumaKol then blocks every call to it, on the web and in the app, takes it out of the calling queue and shows who marked it and why. Only a manager can remove it.
- A lead you can see: agents mark their own leads, team leads their team’s, owners and admins any lead
- Removing DND needs an owner, an admin or the team lead of the lead’s owner

Mark the lead from its page
Open the lead and choose Mark as DND in the row of buttons next to Call. A small dialog asks “Mark this lead as Do not call?”. Type a reason if you have one, such as what the person said and on which channel, then choose Mark as DND. The reason is optional and keeps up to 500 characters. In the LumaKol app, open the lead and tap Mark as DND; it asks for the same optional reason.
Tip: Anyone who logs calls can mark a lead: agents, team leads, owners and admins. Viewers cannot. - 2
What the mark shows
A red “Do not call” badge appears under the lead’s name, with “Marked by” the person who marked it, the date and time, and the reason. The lead’s activity feed gets an entry saying it was marked, with the reason. Any follow-up booked on the lead is cleared, because nobody should call it.

Calls are blocked
On a marked lead the Call button is replaced by a disabled “Do not call” button that says why. Click-to-call from the web app and from the LumaKol browser extension refuses the lead, and the next-lead countdown after an outcome skips it, so it never comes up as the next call. The LumaKol app never dials it either: it leaves the calling queue, auto-dial and Power Dialer.

Mark many leads at once
On Leads, tick the leads (or the box at the top to tick the page), then choose Mark as DND in the bar that appears. The dialog asks “Mark N leads as Do not call?” and takes one optional reason for all of them. Leads that are already marked keep their own reason. In the LumaKol app, long-press a lead on the Leads tab or tap Select leads (the checklist icon) at the top, tick the leads (Select all shown ticks every lead the list is showing), then choose Actions → Mark as DND. It asks for one optional reason for all of them, and it works offline: the marks reach your workspace when the phone is back online.

Find marked leads
Marked leads carry the “Do not call” badge in the list and on the pipeline board. The DND status filter on Leads shows DND only, or hides DND leads so the list holds only people you may call. The filter also applies to exports and the board.
- 6
Remove DND
Owners, admins and team leads (for leads in their teams) see Remove DND on a marked lead in place of Mark as DND, on the web and in the app. It asks “Remove DND from this lead?” before anything changes. The leads list has Remove DND in the same bulk bar for several leads at once, and the app has it under Actions. Agents cannot remove the mark, so a request is never undone by the person who made the next call. Only remove it when the person has agreed to be contacted again.
- 7
“Requested no contact” marks the lead for you
Logging the outcome “Requested no contact” after a call marks the lead Do not call automatically, as the person who logged it, while “Block calls to leads who asked not to be contacted” is ticked in Settings → Calling policy. It is on by default. Removing DND from such a lead also clears that last outcome, so the lead can be called again; the outcome stays in the activity feed.

Check who changed what
Every mark and removal is in the lead’s activity feed with the person and the time. Owners and admins also see them in Settings → Security log under Admin actions & exports, as “Marked a lead as Do not call” and “Removed DND from a lead”.
Ano ang mayroon ka sa dulo
- A request not to be called is recorded the moment it is made, with who took it and why
- Marked leads cannot be called from the web app, the LumaKol app or the browser extension, and leave the calling queue
- Only a manager can lift the mark, and every change is on record
Mga karaniwang tanong
Who can mark a lead as Do not call?+
Anyone who logs calls and can see the lead: agents for their own leads, team leads for their team’s leads, and owners and admins for any lead.
Who can remove DND?+
Owners, admins and team leads, for the leads they can see. Agents cannot.
Does LumaKol check national do-not-call registries?+
No. The mark is your workspace’s own do-not-call list. LumaKol does not check India’s DND (NCPR), the UK’s TPS or the US National Do Not Call Registry, so screen bought or cold lists before you import them.
What happens if the same number is imported again?+
Imports skip numbers that are already in the workspace, so a marked lead keeps its mark. Keep marked leads rather than deleting them: a deleted lead’s number can come back as a new, unmarked lead.
Does the reason show to agents?+
Yes. Everyone who can see the lead sees the badge, who marked it, when, and the reason.
