Keep calls syncing on TECNO, Infinix and itel
HiOS, XOS and itel OS stop apps in the background to save power. Allow auto-start, keep power saving off LumaKol and turn on the dialer’s call recording.
- A TECNO, Infinix or itel phone
- The LumaKol app installed and signed in

Turn off battery optimisation from LumaKol
Open LumaKol → More → Diagnostics and tap Battery optimisation, then set LumaKol so it is not optimised in the list that opens. During setup this is the Keep capturing in the background step. These phones add their own power saving on top, so carry on with the steps below.

Battery optimisation in More → Diagnostics - 2
Allow auto-start
Auto-start lets LumaKol start on its own and keep running in the background.
- TECNO (HiOS): open Phone Master → Toolbox → Auto-start management and allow LumaKol
- Infinix and itel: search Settings for Auto-start; on some models the list is in the phone’s own manager app
- 3
Keep power saving off LumaKol
Power saving for apps closes background apps to save battery.
- TECNO (HiOS): Settings → Battery Lab → Battery Saving Settings, and make sure Power Saving Management For Apps does not restrict LumaKol
- Infinix and itel: open the battery settings for LumaKol from its app info page and remove any limit on running in the background
Tip: Saver modes in Phone Master, such as Power Marathon, can still pause background apps. Keep them off during calling hours. - 4
Lock LumaKol in recent apps
Open recent apps, open the menu on the LumaKol card and choose the option with the padlock. A locked app is not cleared when you clear recent apps.
- 5
Turn on call recording in the dialer
Look at Settings → Apps → Default apps → Phone app (wording varies) to see which dialer your phone uses.
- The phone’s own Phone app: Carlcare, the service network for TECNO, Infinix and itel, says a built-in call recorder is standard on most of these phones. To record every call, open the Phone app, tap the gear icon at the top right (or ⋮) and switch on Enable auto call recording. Labels differ by model.
- Google’s Phone app, if your phone uses it: recording works where your country allows it, and everyone on the call hears that it is recorded. Google keeps these recordings inside the Phone app, so LumaKol cannot match them. Calls and outcomes still sync.

Turn on recording matching in LumaKol
In the app, open More → Calling and switch on Sync dialer recordings. The app then matches your dialer’s recording to each lead call and saves it where your workspace chose, by default your own Google Drive, which the app asks you to connect. Until it is connected, the file stays on your phone, and saving waits for Wi-Fi unless you switch off Save recordings on Wi-Fi only. If the app asks for access to music and audio, allow it: LumaKol reads only audio files your dialer creates around the time of a lead call. Recordings folder, under the switch, is set to Automatic, which searches the phone’s audio library and finds most dialers’ files on its own.
Tip: Check More → Diagnostics afterwards: with Sync dialer recordings on, a Call recording sync row joins the list and should say Allowed. - 7
Point LumaKol at the folder if needed
The folder the dialer saves to differs by model and system version. If calls in the Calls tab say No recording found for this call while the dialer did record them, open the phone’s file manager and find a recent call recording, for example in a folder with Record or Call in its name. Then in LumaKol open More → Calling → Recordings folder, go to that folder, tap Use this folder and then Allow.

Test with one call
Call a lead from LumaKol and hang up after a few seconds. The outcome prompt should open straight away. Clear your recent apps, make another call, and check that it still shows in the Calls tab with the right lead.
Ano ang mayroon ka sa dulo
- Auto-start allowed and power saving off for LumaKol
- LumaKol locked in recent apps
- Calls captured after you clear recent apps or restart
- Recordings from the phone’s own dialer matched to calls
Mga karaniwang tanong
Should I let Phone Master clean up LumaKol?+
No. LumaKol works when a call ends or something changes, plus a quick look at the call log about every 30 minutes, so it uses little battery. If a cleaner closes it, calls log late until LumaKol runs again.
Do the settings reset after a system update?+
Sometimes. After a HiOS, XOS or itel OS update, open More → Diagnostics and check that Battery optimisation still says OK, and look at auto-start and power saving again if calls start arriving late.
