Your plan

A plan is a starting point. When a lead gives you a time, call then instead.

    Which cadence to use

Match the spacing to how warm the lead is.

1Hot enquiryFor enquiries that came in today. Calls on the same day, the next day and the day after, then spaced out over three weeks.
2Standard leadFor leads with interest but no rush. A call today and tomorrow, then after three days, a week, two weeks and a month.
3Cold listFor cold lists. Several days between attempts and messages in between, so you never ring the same number every day.
4After a quoteFor leads who have a quote. Starts the day after sending it, then checks in until there is a yes or a no.

    Rules that keep follow-ups working

Four habits that keep leads from going cold.

    1. Call new enquiries fast

The first call on the day someone asks is the one most likely to be answered. Do not wait for the next morning.

    2. Change the hour

If a morning call goes unanswered, try the evening next. Many people can only talk at one time of day.

    3. Leave a message when you miss them

A short message saying who called and why gets more call backs than a second unannounced call.

    4. Know when to stop

After the last attempt, close the lead or move it to a later list. Endless calls to the same number annoy people and hurt your numberโ€™s reputation.

    Questions about the follow-up planner

How many follow-up attempts should we make?

Most teams settle between five and eight for a warm lead, fewer for cold lists. Count your own: look at which attempt your results usually come from.

Can I include Saturdays or Sundays?

Yes. Tap the days your team works. Attempts that fall on a day off move to the next working day.

Should follow-ups be calls or messages?

Calls for the first attempts, with a short message when nobody answers. Messages work well for sending details and for leads who said they prefer them.

Does the plan depend on my time zone?

The dates are plain calendar dates starting from the day you pick, so they read the same wherever you are. Pick call times that suit the leadโ€™s own time zone.

Can LumaKol book these follow-ups for me?

Yes. Each call outcome can set the next follow-up by itself, and calling rules can bring unanswered leads back into the queue after the wait you choose, up to the attempt limit.
